My very first blog post was 29th August 2011 on tumblr (does anyone still use that?) and I can honestly say if you haven’t yet read it, you haven’t missed much. It wasn’t great. The baking was passable while the writing was average and that is me being kind.
Fast forward to January 2017 and I relaunched the Grace and Flavour blog with high hopes of becoming an internet baking blogging sensation. Spoiler alert – it didn’t happen. I wrote a handful of fairly humourous posts but the baking fell by the wayside slightly and the blogging was put on permanent hold.
It’s now May 3rd 2020 and we are currently day number something or other in lockdown and as many of my other favourite past times have been put on hold for the time being I have been whipping up a storm in the kitchen and posting the results on Instagram. What better time to relaunch the blog? Be warned I am about to unleash my comedy genius and baking know-how onto the internet public.
